Job Description:

As a Teaching Assistant based in Longsight, Greater Manchester, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education to students. Your main responsibilities will include:

Job Duties:

• Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students with their learning
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
• Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
• Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Relevant experience working in an educational setting

Education:

• Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

• Experience working with children or young people
• Experience in supporting classroom activities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of the national curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification
