Teacher of Health & Social Care – Coeducational All-Through School and Sixth Form (Chatteris)
Location: Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

About the Role
Our client, a thriving coeducational all-through school and sixth form based in Chatteris, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Health & Social Care to join their committed and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in students’ educational journeys, particularly those preparing for careers in the health and social care sector.
The successful candidate will teach Health & Social Care across Key Stage 4 and Post-16, delivering high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire learners to succeed.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons in line with curriculum and examination requirements

Inspire and challenge students across a range of abilities and age groups

Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

Create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment

Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
-
Support students’ personal development and career aspirations
Ideal Candidate
-
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, QTS/QLTS, or equivalent)
-
A degree or vocational qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject
-
Experience teaching in a secondary school or sixth form setting
-
Sound knowledge of relevant qualifications such as BTEC and/or OCR Cambridge Nationals
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting young people in their academic and personal growth
