Location: Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

About the Role
Our client, a thriving coeducational all-through school and sixth form based in Chatteris, is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Primary Phase Teacher to join their committed and welcoming team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant primary department where children are encouraged to grow into confident, curious, and independent learners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the primary phase (EYFS–KS2), planning engaging lessons, and supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
-
Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
-
Monitor, assess, and report on pupils’ progress and attainment
-
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
-
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events
-
Take part in planning meetings, CPD opportunities, and school improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a primary setting

Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy

A creative and flexible approach to teaching

High expectations for pupil behaviour and achievement

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A commitment to continuous professional development and inclusive education
