Our client, a successful and forward-thinking academy based in Huntingdon, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology to join their supportive and innovative team.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a well-resourced department, where creativity, practical learning, and student engagement are at the heart of everything they do. The academy has a strong focus on delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in D&T with a focus on Food Technology

• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Support and guide students to achieve outstanding results

• Contribute to the department’s enrichment activities and curriculum development

• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A specialism in Food Technology with the ability to teach across other D&T areas

• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)

• A passion for practical, hands-on teaching and learning

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• A commitment to the values and ethos of the academy
