Supply Teaching Assistant
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Right now, our schools need more support staff than ever! My partner secondary schools in Bradford are calling up daily, needing additional support!
Are you a current Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Behaviour support worker looking for additional/extra work?
Are you a recent University graduate or a current student who is able to work odd days here and there across our Leeds Secondary schools?
If so me and my team want to hear from you right away! We are looking for people who can take morning calls from us, get ready and head to the schools! As these calls typically cover sickness in schools they are impossible to predict, which is where the flexibility becomes so important. If you are free 2-3 days a week and have the means to get to schools in the am please get in touch. We are looking for all of Bradford but specifically BD3, BD5, BD8, BD9, BD12, BD13, BD16, BD20, BD22 - so lots of opportunities!
As a support staff member, you may be standing at the front of the class delivering pre planned content, you may be helping a small group of students you may also be working 1:1 with a single student ensuring they are understanding the content and giving them that extra time and attention they need to succeed. You may be covering the same subject all day – you may end up covering 3-4 subjects all day.
The role of a cover supervisor is both fun and exciting – you are lucky enough to get to work with students of all ages and abilities and you are able to work across every department. This is great for networking and increasing your chances of securing a longer-term role in the school – if that is your plan!
You must have a DBS on the UPDATE SERVICE or be willing to get on! You must have an up-to-date CV that you can send over.
Please use the link below to get started - We look forward to hearing from you
