Position: Nursery Assistant

Location: NP11
Pay: Starting at £83.85 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are collaborating with a fantastic primary school in the NP11 area, and we’re seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is your chance to make a real difference in young children’s lives, encouraging positive behaviours and a love for learning.


About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play an integral role in shaping the daily experience of the children in your care. Your energy, creativity, and nurturing approach will be key to ensuring that each child thrives in a fun and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging nursery activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Organise and manage daily routines, adapting to challenges as they arise.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Adhere to school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
  • Demonstrate a passion for creating memorable learning experiences.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and who meet the following criteria:

  • EWC Registration: You are registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • DBS Check: You hold a Child Only DBS certificate registered on the Update System (or are willing to obtain one).
  • References: You can provide two professional references covering the last 24 months.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
