Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay: £85–£90 per day
Contract Type: Temporary with the potential to transition into a permanent contract

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team in Newton Abbot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning goals are met.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and providing one-on-one or small group support.
• Monitor and report on student progress, working closely with SEN coordinators and parents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
• A compassionate and patient approach, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the changing needs of students.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
