SEN Teaching Assistants - Various Roles Available in Teignbridge

Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with children who have a variety of special educational needs, including SEMH, PMLD, Complex Needs, and Behavioral Challenges in Newton Abbot. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in our partner schools across Teignbridge. 

Roles Available:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students on a 1:1 basis and in group settings, addressing a range of needs such as SEMH, PMLD, Complex Needs, and Behavioral Challenges. Your role will involve helping students engage with their learning, encouraging them to achieve their full potential, and fostering a nurturing, supportive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN)
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ideally, experience in a school or similar setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
