SEN Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs School
Location: Stoke and Staffordshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in SEN schools, in the Stoke and Staffordshire area. This rewarding role involves helping students with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and physical impairments, to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and personalized lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
