SEN Teaching Assistant:

Teaching Personnel is collaborating with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ SEN school in the Black Country that is seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team starting in January. This role offers a competitive pay rate and provides the opportunity to work closely with students, ensuring their educational and personal development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students with special educational needs across different age groups.
- Assisting in planning and delivering tailored interventions to meet individual student needs.
- Encouraging a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Managing and promoting good behavior, helping students engage effectively with their learning.
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to track progress and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications and skills required:
- A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
- Previous experience in an SEN school or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to meet the needs of individual students.
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- An up-to-date DBS on the update serviceor or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
