Are you passionate about supporting students and creating an inclusive learning environment? Teaching Personnel is offering an exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistants in Birmingham to work with children and young adults with additional needs in a specialist school.
The school caters for primary and Key Stage 3 and 4 students with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The provision is purpose-built, with facilities that support students' learning and development.
Position Details:
- Location: B33 (Birmingham, UK)
- Job Type: Full-Time, Immediate Start
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Salary: £425 - £440 per week
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the academic and personal success of students with diverse learning needs. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students in both individual and group settings to enhance their learning experiences
- Supporting students with additional learning needs to reach their full potential
- Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Ensuring students’ well-being and safety throughout the school day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
