Science Teacher - Full Time - Derby
A mixed comprehensive 11-16 secondary school situated in Derby are currently seeking to appoint a full-time teacher to join their department from September 2021.
This position is due to a current member leaving and therefore is a temporary role initially for at least the first term, however, had the opportunity to go permanent for the right educator. The school will appoint the successful Science teacher who is able to commit to the duration of this position.
*Both experienced and newly qualified Science teachers are welcome to apply for this position, and support will be provided from the department*
"Our Science department consists of twelve teachers, who work collaboratively to ensure that all students are making at least the expected progress within Science. The successful teacher will be joining a successful team, will have their own classroom and will be supported throughout departmental meetings and planning sessions." Head of Science.

The school have requested that the incoming Science teacher has experience planning, delivering and assessing differentiated work across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, and is willing to partake in departmental responsibilities for planning, marking and attending meetings.
The School
Situated near a short distance away from central Derby, our partner secondary school is average in size with approximately 1005 students on roll. Access to the school can be obtained via the A52 from Derby city centre. There are also an abundance of public transportation links that lead to the school from Derby bus station.
