Location – Darwen

Permanent/ Full Time

Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity to work with a great secondary school in Darwen. The school are looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join their dedicated team.

School are Seeking candidates

  • Has a Strong Musical Foundation: Whether it’s playing multiple instruments, composing, or understanding various music genres, we want someone who brings their expertise and enthusiasm for music into the classroom.
  • Is an Inspiring Educator: You should be able to ignite curiosity and foster a love for music in students of all ages. Creativity in lesson planning and the ability to engage students in a variety of learning styles are key!
  • Possesses Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, staff, and parents is crucial. You should be able to clearly explain concepts and provide constructive feedback.
  • Has a Passion for Mentorship: Beyond teaching music, we’re looking for someone who will serve as a role model, mentor, and supporter of student growth—both musically and personally.
  • Is a Team Player: You’ll collaborate with other teachers and staff, contributing to a positive, energetic school community. Flexibility and teamwork are essential.
  • Has Experience with Performance and Events: Experience in organising school concerts, performances, and musical events is a big plus!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
