Maths Teacher – Permanent Role in Darwen (BB3)
A vibrant secondary school in Darwen is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Maths Teacher, you will play an integral role in delivering a high standard of education to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring that all students, regardless of ability, achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the curriculum and meet students' learning needs
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and implementing targeted interventions where necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of Maths across the school
- Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated to succeed
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, school events, and student support
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, with the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
- A passion for Maths education and a commitment to raising student attainment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
