Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Description
As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting. Your primary focus will be on helping students develop their academic and social skills to reach their full potential.
Job Duties:
- Deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Work closely with other professionals, such as SENCOs and parents, to create effective learning plans.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEN.
- Monitor and report on students' progress to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN policies and practises
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- A degree in Education or a related field
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN support
- Experience working in a school or educational setting
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, with flexibility required to meet students' needs
- Work may take place in various settings, including schools, homes, or community centres
- Close collaboration with other education professionals and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
