PMLD Support Worker – Skelmersdale

 

~ Are you passionate about supporting individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)? ~

~ We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate PMLD Support Workers to join a wonderful team based in Skelmersdale. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. ~

Position: PMLD Support Worker
Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire
Contract: Temp- Perm OR fixed-term contract until Summer
Salary: Competitive – based on experience
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

 

  Key Responsibilities:

-          Provide support to individuals with PMLD, enabling them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

-          Assist with personal care, communication, and mobility needs.

-          Support with activities of daily living, including social, leisure, and educational activities.

-          Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support tailored to each individual's needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is desirable, though not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • A DBS check will be required for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
