Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their best? We have an exciting opportunity for a General Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a wonderful school in Preston. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a real difference in students' learning, offering part-time hours with a focus on SATs boosters and interventions.

Role Details:

  • Position: General Teaching Assistant (TA)

  • Location: Preston, with easy access via city centre and great bus routes from Chorley and Preston

  • Hours: Part-time, 5 mornings per week (08:45 - 12:00)

  • Duration: Until summer term

  • Responsibilities: Supporting small groups of students, delivering SATs boosters and interventions, helping them to prepare for their exams and build their confidence.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a teaching assistant role.

  • A passion for education and helping children achieve their potential.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students' learning needs.

  • The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with both students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
