Graduate Cover Supervisors Needed – Salford

Are you a recent graduate interested in gaining valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching? We are looking for enthusiastic and confident graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a future in education, offering hands-on experience in a supportive school environment with a starting salary of £85 a day.

The Role:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of their usual teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with their learning and maintaining engagement.
  • Gaining valuable insight into lesson delivery, classroom management, and student support.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Recent graduates (any subject) with a passion for education.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school setting.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
