Secondary schools in Farnborough are looking for enthusiastic Graduate Cover Supervisors to join their teams from January 2025. This role is ideal for graduates from any degree background who are passionate about working with young people, ready to make a positive impact, and interested in a dynamic classroom role.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will lead classrooms across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of regular teachers. You don’t need prior teaching experience—just confidence, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, classroom management expertise, and gain valuable insights into the education sector.

Whether you’re considering a career in teaching, social work, educational psychology, or another related field, this position will provide you with transferable skills such as problem-solving, adaptability, and relationship-building. Your role will directly support students' learning, helping them thrive and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Creating an engaging and structured classroom environment while maintaining behaviour management.
  • Encouraging student participation and supporting their understanding of lesson content.
  • Following school policies to foster a respectful and supportive learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Start date: January 2025.
  • Full-time and part-time roles available to fit your schedule.
  • Open to graduates from all degree backgrounds, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).
  • This position is open to UK residents only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
