Graduate Cover Supervisor

Secondary schools in Fleet are seeking additional support staff to join them from March 2025 as Graduate Cover Supervisors. About the Role:

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting students' learning across Key Stage 3 and 4. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and focused in the absence of their regular teacher. Managing classroom behaviour, supporting student engagement, and fostering a positive learning environment are essential components of this role.

This position is ideal for graduates considering a career in education, experienced LSAs ready to enhance their classroom management skills, or unqualified teachers building experience. You’ll work closely with teaching staff, refine your instructional skills, and gain valuable insights into the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and delivering pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, catering to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Maintaining a positive classroom environment that supports learning and ensures appropriate behaviour.
• Engaging with students, encouraging participation, and supporting their understanding of lesson material.
• Adhering to school policies on behaviour and learning to ensure an orderly and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Position Details:

• Start date: March 2025.
• Full-time and part-time roles available, depending on your availability.
• Suitable for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to expand their experience.
