Job description

Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Brightlingsea

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in the East of England
  • Provide personalised support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Create engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to meet individual learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Education or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management abilities

  • Work location in Brightlingsea, Essex

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
