Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
- Create individualised learning plans to address specific learning needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Support students in improving their understanding and skills in English and Maths
- Collaborate with other educators and school staff to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
- Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse learning needs
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the GCSE level, in line with the UK curriculum
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Experience in providing one-on-one tutoring or intervention support
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a learners homes or local libraries
- May require travel to different locations within the area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
