Future Teachers Programme – Graduate Teacher Internship

Are you a graduate aspiring to become a secondary school teacher? Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Graduate Scheme offers a 12-month paid internship designed to help you gain vital classroom experience before starting your teacher training.

Programme Details:

Start Date: September 2025 (immediate starts also available)
Location: Greater Manchester (Manchester, Stockport, Salford, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham)
Salary: £1,500 – £1,700 per month (Year 1) rising to £25,000 in your training year

Your Role:

Work full-time as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary school
Support pupils in your subject area (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or MFL)
Assist with lesson planning, deliver small group tuition, and cover classes
Gain valuable experience to prepare for your PGCE or teacher training

Who Can Apply?
We’re seeking graduates who are passionate about teaching and available to work full-time from September 2025 to July 2026. Applicants must have completed their degree by August 2025.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
