Cover Supervisor – Stockport

Location: Stockport
Pay Rate: £85 - £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Flexible, Ongoing

We are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide short-term classroom supervision across a secondary school in Stockport. This role is ideal for individuals considering a career in teaching or those with previous experience working with young people in an educational setting.

The Role:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the usual teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
  • Delivering pre-planned lesson materials across various subjects.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students where necessary and reporting any concerns to senior staff.

Requirements:

  • A degree or experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and build positive relationships with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
