English Teacher – Full-Time – September 2025 Start

Location: Secondary Schools across Bolton, Bury & Salford
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent or Long-Term
Salary: MPS/UPS – £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher seeking a fresh opportunity in a supportive secondary school environment from September 2025? We are currently working with a range of fantastic schools across Bolton, Bury, and Salford looking to appoint talented individuals to inspire and engage students in English Language and Literature.

The role involves teaching English across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities. Schools are well-equipped with modern facilities and benefit from a collaborative approach within departments. Newly qualified teachers are welcome and will be supported by experienced mentors.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold UK QTS with a specialisation in English

  • Have strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress

  • Be passionate about reading, writing, and developing literacy skills

  • Have experience planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Be seeking a long-term or permanent opportunity in a supportive setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
