Start Date: Easter 2025
Salary: £90-150 a day depedning on experience
Are you a creative and highly organized individual with a passion for supporting the arts? Do you have experience working in an educational setting, or a strong interest in Art and Design? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a dedicated Art & Design Technician to join our vibrant and dynamic school community. The successful candidate will provide essential technical support to our Art & Design department, ensuring that resources, equipment, and the studio environment run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and organizing materials and equipment for lessons.

Assisting with the maintenance and organization of the art studio.

Supporting students with their practical projects, offering guidance on techniques and processes.
-
Assisting with the setup and dismantling of displays for exhibitions.
-
Managing the stock of art supplies and equipment, ensuring all resources are available when needed.
-
Ensuring health and safety standards are followed within the department.

Offering technical support to teaching staff during lessons and practical sessions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A strong interest in Art & Design.
-
Experience working with a variety of materials and tools used in Art and Design (e.g., paint, clay, textiles, printing, photography, etc.).

Knowledge of health and safety procedures in an art or design setting.
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-
A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to work as part of a team.
-
Previous experience in an educational setting would be advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
