Job role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Birmingham, B30
Start Date: 28th April 2025
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for qualified Teaching Assistants to join our partnered school in Birmingham, B30. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience working within secondary schools in the UK.
The ideal candidate:
- Will have a proactive nature, and be able to think outside the box.
- Have a passion for supporting and working with children, helping to them reach their personal goals.
- Will be available full-time.
- Have previous experience working at Secondary Schools within the UK.
- Show patience towards students.
- Have previous experience working with children with additional needs (SEMH).
- The ability to adapt to different teaching styles and student needs is essential.
The role:
- Supporting Classroom Learning.
- Helping with Differentiated Learning.
- Behavior Management.
- Running Small Group Sessions or 1:1 Support.
- Supporting Extracurricular Activities.
- Promoting Student Independence.
- Communication with Teachers and Parents.
- Protect and safeguard students at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
