Job description

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location:

North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove

Job Type:

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

£89 - £99 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
  • Ensure classroom order and discipline are maintained
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students
  • Assist with the implementation of the curriculum
  • Manage classroom resources and materials

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and engage with students effectively

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience in an educational setting

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment
  • Full-time hours
  • Interact with students and teachers on a daily basis
  • Manage classroom situations and student behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
