Are you a recent Maths graduate unsure of your next steps?

Have you considered teaching but aren’t sure it’s the right career for you?

Would you like to become a Maths teacher without the large costs associated with a PGCE?

Our ‘Future Teachers’ programme offers an excellent opportunity for Maths graduates to gain practical experience within secondary schools. You’ll learn the basics of teaching, including supporting students one-on-one, planning lessons, teaching across various age groups and class sizes, and marking. This is a great chance to develop your teaching skills while being paid.

As the leading recruitment agency in the teaching sector, we work with over 90% of schools in the local area and are skilled at finding the ideal school for each graduate. We offer prior meetings with schools so you can meet staff, students, and tour the premises to ensure the best fit.

We’ve partnered with the UK’s largest trust to offer graduates a route into teaching for the 2024 academic year, where you’ll work and gain QTS while earning. Given the teacher shortages, we are especially interested in hearing from Maths graduates.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Maths or a related field
  • Experience working with children (either professionally or voluntarily) is desirable
  • Can commit to a year’s placement within a secondary school
  • Friendly and approachable nature
  • Subject to clearance of a child-only DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
