Future Teachers Programme – Science Graduates Wanted for Teaching Training Placements
Are you a recent Science graduate unsure of your next steps?

Would you like to become a Science teacher without the large costs associated with a PGCE?
Our ‘Future Teachers’ programme offers a fantastic opportunity for Science graduates to gain valuable experience in secondary schools. You’ll learn the basics of teaching, including one-to-one support, lesson planning, teaching across age groups and class sizes, and marking. With a competitive pay rate, this is an excellent chance to develop your teaching skills while being paid.

We’ve recently partnered with the UK’s largest trust to offer graduates a route into teaching for the 2024 academic year, allowing you to work and gain QTS while being paid. Due to teacher shortages, we are particularly keen to hear from Science graduates.
Requirements:
- Degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields)
- Experience working with children (either professionally or voluntarily) is desirable
- Can commit to a year’s placement within a secondary school
- Friendly and approachable nature
- Subject to clearance of a child-only DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
