Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a KS1 child with ADHD at a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL4 – Farnworth).

Job Summary:

• Location: Bolton (BL4 – Farnworth)
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Pay Rate: £90 -£100 per day
• Start Date: ASAP (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to help the child engage, focus, and thrive in the classroom.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, supporting both academic and emotional development.
• Implement individualised strategies to enhance concentration, motivation, and overall progress.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to monitor progress and adapt approaches as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children with ADHD or other special educational needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, working closely with staff and parents.
• Relevant SEN qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
