Job description

Are you a passionate and creative English teacher looking for a new opportunity to inspire and motivate students? We are seeking a talented English Teacher to join our school in Rochdale this September.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Encourage students to develop their love for literature, language, and critical thinking.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the English curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving excellent exam results and preparing for future opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified English teacher with a passion for literature and language.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students with creative teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
  • A team player with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
