Job description

Are you passionate about History, Geography, or other Humanities subjects? Do you have the enthusiasm and dedication to inspire students to explore the world around them? We are looking for a talented Humanities Teacher to join our school in Rochdale this September!

About the Role:

  • Teach History, Geography, and other Humanities subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to think critically about the world, past and present.
  • Foster a love of learning and an understanding of global issues, cultures, and history.
  • Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum, bringing fresh ideas and creative approaches.
  • Support students in achieving academic success and preparing for future academic or career opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Humanities teacher with a passion for the subject.
  • Expertise in History, Geography, or another Humanities subject (or a combination).
  • Ability to engage and motivate students through innovative and dynamic teaching.
  • Strong communication skills and a dedication to helping students reach their full potential.
  • A team player with a commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
