Year 2 Teacher

 

Are you a fully qualified or newly qualified Year 2 Teacher seeking a new role from January 2025?

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking for your next rewarding role?

Do you have the passion, drive and dedication to provide exceptional learning opportunities to pupils ages 4-11 years old?

We are working with a vibrant primary school in the B75 area, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher for a January start.

About The Role:

Enthusiastic about education and teaching–plan and deliverlessons effectively, collaborating with teaching assistants

Ability to mark

Effectively managing behaviour in the classroom and following the schools behaviour policies

Ensuring safeguarding of children

Communicating effectively to parents, SENDCo's and other educational professionals if/when needed

Confidently and flexibly meeting the diverse needs of students, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Be flexible to year group/ key stage

 

About You:

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum

Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have over 1 year of applicable references

Can drive or reliably commute at late notice

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Confident contributing to the school community

Availability for after school meetings, training days and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
