Year 5/ 6 Teacher
We are thrilled to partner with a dynamic and supportive school in Birmingham, seeking a passionate and enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join their dedicated team from January 2025.
We are looking to recruit a full-time, long term KS2 teacher to play a crucial role in making a positive impact to the educational journey of young learners aged 7-11 years old.
This role is working in a primary school in Tamworth and suited to a candidate with a keen passion for education and learning, confident creating a positive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
You will also be expected to have strong communication skills and effective classroom management experience.
About The Role:
- Enthusiastic about education and teaching–plan, deliver and mark lessons effectively, collaborating with teaching assistants
- Effectively managing behaviour in the classroom and following the schools behaviour policies
- Ensuring safeguarding of children
- Communicating effectively to parents, SENCo's and other educational professionals if/when needed
- Confidently and flexibly meeting the diverse needs of students, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
About You:
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
- Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have over 1 year of applicable references
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident contributing to the school community
- Availability for after school meetings, training days and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
