Classroom Teacher
Salary: MPS/UPS - £31,650 to £49,084 per annum
Contract Term: Fixed Term
Phase/Establishment Type: Primary
Hours Per Week: 32.5 hours per week
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with an amazing primary school based in Birmingham. The school are looking to take on an experienced and passionate Classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and produce teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability.
  • Plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the pupils so as to facilitate progression in pupils’ learning.
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of the pupils assigned.
  • Manage the classroom and teaching equipment so to create a positive learning environment which makes effective use of available resources.
  • Attend meetings, carry out administrative tasks and duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status or working towards qualification
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
  • Experience of teaching in a primary school
  • Track record of delivering excellent teaching
  • A good understanding of statutory requirements in primary schools
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEN strategies and Code of Practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
