Job description

Primary School Teacher in Birmingham - January 2025 Start

Teaching Personnel's Birmingham primary branch is currently seeking experienced primary school teachers for both part-time and full-time positions starting in January 2025.

These roles cover a variety of year groups, so flexibility in terms of year group and key stage is essential. Each role is a minimum of one term, with potential for permanent positions afterward. Please note that these positions are not open to ECTs. However, we are actively hiring ECTs for other roles. Don't let this discourage you from applying, as we may have a different vacancy that suits your experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Marking and assessing pupils' progress
  • Monitoring, recording, and reporting on students' attainment, development, and progress
  • Managing behaviour in the classroom
  • Attending school meetings and events
  • Communicating effectively with parents, SENDCos, and other educational professionals

Requirements

  • QTS and completed induction period
  • Suitable references demonstrating prior experience in teaching and managing behaviour
  • Flexibility to work in either KS1 or KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
