Job description

We are pleased to partner with a dynamic and supportive school in Birmingham, which is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join their dedicated team from January 2025.

As a KS1 teacher, you will play a crucial role in making a positive impact to the educational journey of young learners.

This role is working in a primary school in Great Barr and suited to a candidate with a keen passion for education and learning, confident creating a positive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.

You will also be expected to have strong communication skills and effective classroom management experience.

About The Role:

  • Enthusiastic about education and teaching-delivering lesson plans effectively and collaborating with teaching assistants
  • Effectively managing behaviour in the classroom and following the schools behaviour policies
  • Ensuring safeguarding of children
  • Communicating effectively to parents, SENDCo's and other educational professionals if/when needed
  • Confidently and flexibly meeting the diverse needs of students, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Be flexible to year group/ key stage

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Be passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have over 1 year of applicable references
  • Can drive or reliably commute at late notice
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
