Primary Unqualified Teacher
Location:
 Ellesmere Port
Contract Type: Long-term, Fixed-Term (Initially 1 Year) (Flexible, 3-5 days per week)
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? A well-established Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Unqualified Teacher / Cover Supervisor to join their thriving primary school in Ellesmere Port starting January 2025.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide effective classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils to achieve their potential, maintaining high expectations for behavior and engagement.
  • Work closely with staff to uphold the school’s inclusive and nurturing ethos.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and with confidence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different year groups as required.
  • Experience in a similar role (desired but not essential).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including the willingness to undertake relevant training and background checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
