Teaching personnel is the UK's leading education recruitment agency and we are looking for Bank Learning Support Assistants to support children and young adults in SEND schools in Nottingham.
Learning Support Assistants work with children who have physical disabilities/mild to severe to profound Learning Disabilities/Autism/ADHD/Dyslexia/Dyspraxia/complex social and emotional needs and mental health issues.
You do not need to have had previous experience to apply for this role, but experience working with children in a nursery setting or as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be advantageous.
This role will be to join our Bank/Short term supply of staff and you will be available at short notice to cover absences in the schools in your area. There is a possibility of short term placements turning into a longer term and more permanent one.
- The shifts will be: Monday- Friday Time: 08:30-15:30
- You will be engaging, positive and have a resilient personality, as this role can be challenging at times!
- Experience in an SEND setting or a school setting would be advantageous
- Qualifications needed-Minimum would be GCSE's in English and Maths (A-C Grade)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
