Teaching Assistant

Although times are changing and schools are not currently in full-time at present, the education sector are still in need of SEN Teaching Assistants to support a variety of students across Mansfield.

Due to the disruption in education and structure of learning the last few months have caused, more and more schools are looking at further support in the new academic term to help with this. Many of the challenges we face and need to offer additional support with are the following:

• Gaps in the students academic knowledge
• Need for smaller group sizes
• Support with Engagement and Attention
• Pastoral Support for those students presenting with anxiety

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants who will be able to support with this demand in new roles in September, across the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire.

The Ideal candidates for these roles will have the following experience:

• Worked in a School, SEN School or Pru Setting
• Experience supporting ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD
• Experience offering pastoral and creative support for students who present with anxiety or more disengaging behaviours
• Available to work full-time or part-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
