Primary Teaching Assistant - Nursery and Year 4 

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Mainstream Primary School in Anfield, who are searching for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to work with both Early Years and KS2. The role would entail supporting a Year 4 class of morning and working 1-1 with a pupil in Nursery of an afternoon. Te year 4 class has some challenging behaviour so you will be assisting the class teacher during lessons. The pupil in Nursery who you would be working 1-1 with is non verbal with challenging behaviour so you will be supporting them during lesson times.

It is essential that you have some experience spporting pupils in Primary schools and are confident with your behavioural management

The Role:

• Full time, Monday - Friday 
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
• GBP10 - GBP11 Per hour
• Mainstream Primary School
• SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant

The tasks which a SEN TA carries out can include:

• Preparing materials, equipment and lessons
• Assessing the individual learning needs of pupils
• Evaluating and reporting pupils’ progress to teachers, carers, healthcare professionals and anybody else who helps them
• Positively managing challenging behaviour and dealing with difficult situations
• Liaising with parents, carers and other professionals who work with the pupils
• Supervising activities such as trips locally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
