Maths Tutor
Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate maths tutor to help support children within the Darlington area to achieve their academic goals within the Maths sector.
At TP Tutors we provide education for children who are not currently accessing education; therefore, these roles could be located within local libraries, the children’s home, learning centres ect.
The Role:
- Provide 1-1 tuition sessions based around the maths curriculum.
- Develop and build a positive and engaging relationship with students to engage them back into education.
- Track student’s progress and attainment through our own LEAP platform
Key Requirements:
- To have a child workforce only enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one.
- To have at least 6 months experience working within education supporting children.
- Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of the children.
- Have a strong subject knowledge and understanding of the maths curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
