Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (South Birmingham)

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a number of primary schools within the South Birmingham area to recruit passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the class teacher and fellow TAs to create a dynamic, welcoming, and energetic classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within the classroom team, supporting the delivery of lessons and ensuring that all children are engaged and benefiting from the content.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or learning difficulties, helping them to reach their full potential.
- Develop an understanding of the academic, social, emotional, and developmental needs of primary-aged children.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with children, their families, and fellow staff members.
- Bring a warm, friendly, and positive approach to the classroom, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Be caring, patient, and empathetic to the unique needs of each child.
- Occasionally, you may be required to provide 1:1 support, working closely with individual students to track and enhance their progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
