Role Overview:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Church of England primary school in ST10. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting children’s academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils’ learning and development in line with the school’s core values of trust, mindfulness, peace, and friendship.
- Assist in delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity, resilience, and confidence.
- Provide tailored support for children, including those with additional needs, ensuring they can fully participate in lessons.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment where pupils feel valued and encouraged.
- Promote a love of reading, supporting phonics sessions and structured reading activities.
- Help implement a well-structured curriculum across subjects, ensuring pupils build their knowledge and skills over time.
- Encourage pupils to take on responsibilities such as eco-councillors, IT monitors, or worship leaders, enhancing their confidence and sense of responsibility.
