About the Role

As an Individual Needs Assistant, you’ll provide essential support to primary-aged students with specific educational, physical, or emotional needs. Working alongside teachers and specialists, your responsibilities will include:

• Offering 1:1 or small group support tailored to each child’s needs
• Assisting students with learning activities, social skills, and classroom integration
• Supporting personalized learning plans to help students achieve their full potential
• Helping students develop independence and confidence in a safe, caring environment

Requirements

• Experience working with children, ideally in a role supporting individual needs
• A positive, flexible, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare (DBS clearance required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
