About the Role

As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them succeed in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working 1:1 or in small groups to provide tailored support
• Assisting with classroom activities and implementing personalized learning plans
• Supporting students with physical, emotional, and social needs
• Collaborating with teachers and SEND coordinators to track progress and adjust strategies

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications in SEND or related fields are advantageous
• A compassionate, patient, and positive approach to working with children
• Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with students
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (DBS clearance required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
