Exciting Opportunity: Teacher of Science
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire
Start Date: Easter or September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Teaching Personnel is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Science to join a vibrant secondary school in Waterlooville, Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science teacher to make a real difference in the lives of students, either starting in Easter 2025 or September 2025.

The Role:
As a Teacher of Science, you will be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level for the right candidate. You will be passionate about delivering exciting and engaging Science lessons that inspire students to think critically and develop their scientific knowledge. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and ready to support students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 
  • Develop engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles.
  • Foster a passion for Science in students, promoting critical thinking and inquiry.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Participate in the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular Science-related activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Science, with the ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science (and A-Level for the right candidate).
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate about teaching Science.
