About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Science Teacher to join a dedicated Science department. As a Science Teacher at our client school, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across a range of scientific disciplines. We are looking for a professional who is excited to inspire students and encourage their curiosity in science, while supporting their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 & KS4), with potential to teach Key Stage 5 (KS5) for the right candidate.
  • Deliver interactive and challenging lessons that promote student engagement and success.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
  • Contribute to the development of a forward-thinking Science curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Support students’ personal development and well-being.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Science or a related subject.
  • A passion for teaching and a genuine desire to help students excel.
  • Experience of teaching Science at secondary school level is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a focus on student-centered teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
