The Role:

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
  • Inspire curiosity and love for science among students, using creative teaching methods and practical, hands-on experiments.
  • Collaborate within a strong department, sharing best practice, planning together, and supporting the continuous improvement of the Science curriculum while working alongside provided schemes of work.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment, building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS with a specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
  • Has a positive, can-do attitude, using initiative and creativity to engage students in scientific exploration.
  • Enjoys teamwork, actively collaborating with colleagues and openly sharing ideas.
  • Is passionate about their subject, committed to nurturing students’ enthusiasm for science.
